The multiple crises affecting Lebanon and UNICEF’s programme in the country have notably increased donor communication

requirements. Accordingly, UNICEF Lebanon needs the support of a content production consultant to support the donor

communication and visibility activities that are implemented by the Communication section.

The donor communication individual contractor will be responsible for the production of quality multimedia content and

storytelling, with a strong focus on maintaining excellent donor communications and visibility requirements, as part of UNICEF

Lebanon’s communication strategies and plans.

How can you make a difference?

Overview of the tasks and deliverables:

Produce compelling multimedia content

(photos, video, written stories) on the

Produce compelling multimedia content

situation of children and families, and the

impact of UNICEF programmes for

multiple platforms including digital and

printed materials

Videos, stories, photos and other

multimedia assets are duly delivered as

assigned by the supervisor

Liaise with programme and partnerships

teams to effectively track, plan,

coordinate and execute all donor

communication requirements, ensuring all

deadlines are met

Donor communication coordination

mechanisms are applied

Support donor visits with content

production, including photography and

video services, ensuring all material is

submitted with detailed captions and

information recorded for any follow up

needed

Videos, stories, photos and other

multimedia assets are produced, shared

and submitted with detailed captions

and information recorded

Contribute to the production of a bimonthly

newsletter highlighting

programme achievements, events, etc.

Content to be included in the

newsletter is timely shared

Prepare regular social media content to

acknowledge donors and prepare visibility

reports as per the reporting deadlines

Social media content and visibility

reports are produced and submitted for

dissemination

Prepare social media packages for

partners’ platforms and work with the

Digital team to scale up engagement with

partners for digital campaigns

Social media packages are delivered and

share for dissemination.

Digital engagement with donors is

increased

Liaise and respond to queries from donor

communication and internal fundraising

focal points

Donor communication queries are duly

and timely addressed

Collaborate with partners and donors via

existing working groups

Participation in existing working groups

is ensured

Working with the Design Officer, maintain

excellence in donor visibility on site and

for events

Donor visibility on site and in events is

ensured

Regular monitor and track of results and

produce short trend reports and results

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…

  • A first University degree in Communication/external relations or any other relevant field.
  • A minimum of 4 of relevant professional experience in fundraising, PR or multimedia production.
  • High command of both English and Arabic.
  • Content production advanced skills, including proven ability in developing

    compelling stories and narratives.

  • Ability to work with professional photographers and videographers to create

    compelling multimedia productions.

  • Photography skills.
  • Excellent writing and reporting skills.
  • Social media content creation.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and in close collaboration with internal and

    external partners.

  • Ability to cope with pressure and deliver within strict deadlines.

Individuals engaged under a consultancy or individual contract will not be considered “staff members” under the Staff Regulations and Rules of the United Nations and UNICEF’s policies and procedures, and will not be entitled to benefits provided therein (such as leave entitlements and medical insurance coverage). Their conditions of service will be governed by their contract and the General Conditions of Contracts for the Services of Consultants and Individual Contractors. Consultants and individual contractors are responsible for determining their tax liabilities and for the payment of any taxes and/or duties, in accordance with local or other applicable laws.
