IC for Communication Content Development

Result of Service - Social Media Management and Media Monitoring activities - Content creation for external digital platforms (Website, Social Media, Campaigns..) - Brainstorm with the UN Communications Group and create designs inspired by style guides.

Expected duration 3 Months

Duties and Responsibilities Under the supervision of the RCO Communications Officer, the IC will contribute to the implementation of the RCO strategic communication plan for high quality visibility for key issues for the United Nations and the work of the UN in Saudi Arabia to increase the standing and awareness of the UN in country with partners, civil society, the media and the general public.

Qualifications/special skills Competency: - Must have the ability to work independently on developing original content into articles, stories and social media posts - Must be able to handle multiple tasks and perform to meet tight deadlines - Demonstrate ability to be proactive and anticipating potential issues before they occur - The ability to work independently and in a team is desirable. - A proven talent in visual design, layout for web, product, and print would be an advantage. Academic Qualifications: BA in Communications or any relevant field such as Advertising/Marketing Experience: 1 year experience in marketing, media, communication and content development Language: English and Arabic
