Result of Service Two new courses are designed, animated and provided in ppt and video. This contributes to the project since the courses will be delivered to beneficiary countries via UNCTAD e-learning platform.

Duties and Responsibilities Under the supervision of the project manager of the below mentioned UNCTAD project and the overall supervision of the Chief of the Trade Facilitation Section, Trade Logistics Branch, Division on Technology and Logistics of UNCTAD, the consultant will work in the framework of the following UNCTAD project: TLAL on "Accelerate Trade Facilitation", financed by Her Majesty Revenue and Customs – UK Customs. The overall objective of the programme is to help developing countries boost trade by cutting red tape to ensure a better recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic by digitalizing the coordination and monitoring of trade facilitation reforms. The funds will enable UNCTAD to build on its engagement with national trade facilitation committees (NTFC), providing a suite of online courses via UNCTAD e-Learning platform for trade facilitation. . Within this context, the consultant will create two presentations with approx. 50 slides each, for two online courses: how to effectively run an NTFC secretariat and how to chair an NTFC. - The presentations will be created with PowerPoint but will be modelled on Prezi in terms of design and animation (storytelling, zoom from overview to details, etc.). - The consultant will use the existing master design based on the visual identity of UNCTAD Empowerment Programme for National Trade Facilitation Committees and improved it, whenever possible, - The consultant will implement a design idea for each presentation, using the master presentation, but adapting it specifically to the topic of the presentation. - The presentations are to be animated to fit a voiceover in each slide and at the end additionally made available as a video (.mp4 file, 1920x1080 px). - The voice over will be professionally recorded by the consultant. - On-going client consultation and administration - Up to 3 revisions rounds of design - Up to two comprehensive revisions for the voice over. - UNCTAD will make the current presentation and briefing for the consultant available. - UNCTAD will provide for the voice over text as well as the subtitles. - UNCTAD will provide with access to some graphic material that is available to the Trade Facilitation Section. Other photographic material included in the presentation will need to be provided by the consultant. Copyright for this photographic material should be "to reuse for non-commercial purpose". - Transmission of presentations via secure download link (.pptx file, .ppsx file, .mp4 file)

Qualifications/special skills Academic Qualifications: Advance university degree (Master degree) in design, arts, or similar. Experience: A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in communication and design. Experience in designing presentations and videos is required. Experience designing online courses in the context of the United Nations is desirable. Experience in video creation and storytelling in the context of trade facilitation is a plus. Language: The consultant is required to have full communication and drafting skills in English
