In line with UNICEF's Strategic Plan, the Talent Programmes and Partnership Team has been actively supporting career development activities designed to support young UNICEF personnel in active management of their career. By empowering interns and fellows with career development activities and resources, UNICEF may become a more youth-empowered and -centric organization that exists under the mission of protecting every child.

Our team's approach is centered around learner engagement and seeks to provide young staff with current, accessible learning opportunities. The INSPIRE Guide is designed to engage interns and fellows and better equip them to plan and maximize their experience and to improve career development strategy for their next career steps. Through the UN Volunteer assignment, we seek to build a creative videos to build strong learning tools and resources.

The Online Volunteer will work with Division of Human Resources' Talent Programmes and Partnership Team, assigned to create, edit and complete four videos as an added value to the INSPIRE Guide, which is designed to benefit UNICEF interns and fellows to enhance their experience and career development. The volunteer is expected to create one video each week to deliver a total of 4 videos.

Under the supervision of the lead of Talent Programmes and Partnership Team, the volunteer will carry out the following tasks:

  • Perform editing and logging of products linked to the INSPIRE Guide.
  • Plan and facilitate the development and implementation of videos to be added value to the INSPIRE Guide.
  • Adopt suggestions and guidance to reflect on videos accordingly and provide suggestions to create effective contents.

Work experience with video editing and proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro is required. Experience in creating digital contents and resource mobilization is an asset, as is experience working in the UN system or other international non-profit organizations.
