Result of Service The objective of this contract is to develop condensed versions of NAFS publications and research work. This content will be targeted for the relevant audience and for wider dissemination.

Work Location Beirut

Expected duration The assignment will be for 1.5 months starting from signature of contract.

Duties and Responsibilities Under the supervision of the Programme Manager of the National Agenda for the Future of Syria Programme, the Copywriter will be responsible for the following duties: - Write a policy brief / condensed version in English for a maximum of 8 NAFS reports. - Collaborate with the NAFS team to agree on the target audience for the report and the main messages to highlight in the policy brief before the work starts. - Prepare and Review NAFS Newsletter and work with NAFS team to extract the most relevant information to be integrated in the newsletter.

Qualifications/special skills Skills: Demonstrated knowledge in creative writing techniques, previous experience and knowledge of United Nations Rules and Procedures is desirable Academic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing, English, communication or a related discipline is required Experience: A minimum of five years of experience in writing books/articles/news pieces is required Language: Fluency in English and Arabic is required
