Result of Service Deliverable 1: Draft a detailed outline for each of the determined pillars of the Arab Vision. And prepare first draft of the agreed upon policy papers (each around 10,000 -12,000 words).

Deliverable 2: Present the relevant parts of the Vision as well as the policy papers before the Second Meeting on the Arab Vision 2045. And prepare and review final drafts of the Arab vision 2045 document, policy papers and policy briefs.

Deliverable 3: Participate in the promotion and adoption of the Arab vision 2045 document, policy papers and policy briefs through small videos interviews and recordings, preparation and/or review of infographics material as well as the interactive website of the vision.

Expected duration 4 months

Duties and Responsibilities Within delegated authority, the Consultant will be responsible for the following duties:

1. Carry out background research related to the pillars of the proposed Arab Vision: performances, indicators/indexes, conceptions, strategic initiatives and policies. 2. Draft, write and review agreed upon pillars of the vision document, policy papers and briefs. 3. Participate in the expert working group(s) "EWG," coordination meetings, validation dialogue and launching of the vision 2045. And in close co-operation with ESCWA team, participate in the development and the implementation of a dissemination strategy of the vision.

Qualifications/special skills Academic Qualifications: A Master's level University degree in international finance, economics or computer science is required particularly in the area of frontier technolgies, statistics, law, philosophy, financial accounting and economics. Experience: At least 5 years of work experience is required in:

- In-depth expertise in one or more areas relevant to the 7 pillars of the Arab Vision, assessment and policy analysis and experience in communicating, promoting and incorporating evidence into future vision and policy development processes. - Experience in drafting policy stances, vision document and regulations in Arab countries; and able to provide information and give presentations on socioeconomic issues to a wide range of relevant stakeholders; - Professional or academic experiences in the development of macro indexes development and implementation frameworks, instruments and tools. Language: For working purposes, an excellent knowledge of the Arabic and English languages, written and spoken is required. Knowledge of other working languages of the UN is also desirable
