Contract

This is a Consultancy contract. More about Consultancy contracts.

UNICEF works in some of the world’s toughest places, to reach the world’s most disadvantaged children. To save their lives. To defend their rights. To help them fulfill their potential.

Across 190 countries and territories, we work for every child, everywhere, every day, to build a better world for everyone.

And we never give up.

For every child, hope

The UNICEF Strategic Plan 2018-21 recognizes that the private sector has a critical role to play in achieving results for children. Deepening engagement with business to leverage their core businesses, innovations, voice and market influence has the potential to accelerate the achievement of UNICEF’s strategic goals. Since 2015 UNICEF has been using UNISON (on the Salesforce platform) to manage engagement with businesses. Extra support is required to ensure consistency of UNISON use and maximize its potential as a tool to seamlessly manage partnership with business across all levels in UNICEF. Short-term support is needed to raise the level of quality of information within the platform, assist and train users and build capacity both at PFP level and in markets within the Corporate Partnerships Team and Multi-Stakeholder Platforms team, and contribute to the implementation of new developments in UNISON.

How can you make a difference?

Bring the quality of the information up to date in UNISON, particularly in relation to Corporate partnerships and prospects, but also of the Multi-Stakeholder Platform partnerships. Increase the usage and familiarity of UNISON within the Corporate Partnerships team to promote ongoing engagement, realization of benefits, and maintain the quality of information after the end of the consultancy. Promote cross-team collaboration and utilization of UNISON where there is cross-over (for example, with the Multi-Stakeholder Platform team on World Economic Forum events).

MAIN TASKS

  • Support PFP Corporate Partnerships team and National Committee/ Country Office/ Regional Office teams to ‘clean-up’ the data in UNISON to ensure it accurately reflects the portfolio of existing partnerships and the new business pipeline.
  • Provide close support to teams and proactively guide them and train them in the use of UNISON to enable them to update information themselves, or if necessary, carry out the data entry directly.
  • To enable these first 2 priority tasks, and incentivize adoption of UNISON by users, additional tasks include:
    • Fine tune market specific dashboards and reports generated in UNISON, present them to markets and collaborate across teams to identify and provide valuable business intelligence.
    • Provide a ‘hot line’ first line of support for requests from PFP or market colleagues for UNISON enquiries.
    • Build strong relationships between technical and business teams across the partnership cone, and drive adoption and engagement to maximise the benefit of UNISON for partnership management.

DELIVERABLES

  1. Responsive ongoing support to users, increasing knowledge and confidence in using UNISON.
  2. Work with business users and technical support to develop and implement appropriate system controls / validation rules that can prevent previously identified data errors.
  3. Regularly generate reports to identify records where key information is missing, inaccurate or requires to be updated (priority to be given to Accounts and Opportunities from priority markets of the Corporate Partnerships team, to Accounts likely to be involved in the WEF January 2021 event, and to priority Accounts with designated Global Lead Account Managers (‘GLAMs’)).
  4. Bespoke sessions organized for PFP Focal Point and relevant colleagues in priority markets to guide them on what information needs to be updated in their Accounts or Opportunities, and build their capacity to correct and manage their Accounts and Opportunities in UNISON.
  5. Needs for additional training materials are identified and training materials are developed in coordination with UNISON Project Manager and business users.
  6. Reports and Dashboards tailored to the needs of various users (PFP Focal Points, National Committee or Country Office users) developed for priority markets.
