Result of Service NAFS programme is seeking services of a consultant to support in developing project proposals and concept notes in line with NAFS Phase III goals and objectives.

Work Location Remote

Expected duration The assignment will be for one month starting from the signature date of the contract.

Duties and Responsibilities Under the supervision of the Programme Manager of the National Agenda for Syria Programme, the consultant will be responsible for the following duties: 1. Prepare up to 6 concepts notes and complete project proposals for identified priority projects, including by: i. Coordinating with NAFS PM in drafting project proposals; ii. Contribute to the preparation of the project's budget to ensure it is aligned with institutional needs as well as the technical narrative; iii. Drafting, communicating, and planning project proposal designs in line with ESCWA's rules and regulations as well as possible donor requirements as well as aligned with NAFS's vision and mission as well as its objectives; viii. Ensuring the proposal is prepared with a high degree of quality, accuracy and adherence to internal as well as possible donor requirements for formatting. 2. Support NAFS PM and staff in mobilizing resources from donors for the identified priority projects.

Qualifications/special skills Skills: Working with international development or humanitarian agencies, preferably in donor relations, resource mobilization, communication or project development is required. Academic Qualifications: An Advanced university degree in one of the following majors: Political Science, International Relations, International Development, Business Administration, or related field is required. Experience: A minimum of 8 years of experience working with international development or humanitarian agencies, preferably in donor relations, resource mobilization, communication or project development is required. Language: Fluency in English is required.
