Generic responsibilities

These responsibilities shall be the same for all positions with the same title. The responsibilities shall be short and essential. Details belong in the Work- and Professional Development Plan.

  • Adhere to NRC policies, tools, handbooks and guidelines
  • Assist with the implementation of the support function portfolio according to plan of action
  • Prepare and develop status reports as required by management
  • Ensure proper filing of documents
  • Promote and share ideas for improvement of the support function Responsible for: assessment, vulnerable beneficiary selection, project planning, implementation and monitoring for shelter/CCCM activities
  • Collection and analysis shelter/CCCM data and report to shelter/CCCM officer.
  • Produce reports on weekly, monthly and require base as well.
  • Development of holistic and needs based programmes, including cash-based interventions and marked based programmes

Specific responsibilities:

These responsibilities shall be adapted to the particularities of the job location and context, phase of operation, strategic focus and type of programme intervention. This section shall be revised whenever a new employee is hired or the context changes significantly.

  • Assessment on site****. assessment, identify needs and resources, shelter/CCCM type, data on returnees/ IDPs
  • Beneficiary selection. Identify vulnerable families eligible for shelter/CCCM assistance according to established selection criteria.
  • Delivery on site. Shelter/CCCM package according to the plan and on time clearance.
  • Provision and completion of all field related forms, contracts and retain in profile.
  • Responsible for quality maintenance of shelter and CCCM in target area
  • Monitor shelter/CCCM activities within the agreed timeframe and ensuring the quality and quantity of material is correct and according to the BoQs/DRWs/Specification.
  • Support adherence to SoP during implementation of various shelter/CCCM activities in the targeted areas
  • Conduct the meeting with community, leaders, local authority and other stakeholders at field level.
  • Upon successful completion of shelter/CCCM reports to shelter/CCCM officer for progress report.
  • Participate in field missions, shelter/CCCM activities monitoring, and technical assistance to beneficiaries.
  • Ensure all program data are accurately collected and reported;
  • Participate in NRC staff seminars and training, when scheduled.
  • Any other tasks as assigned by the immediate superior.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field such as Civil Engineering faculty (Education Degree is an asset but not manadatory)
  • At least 2 years of working experience with the communities and INGOs.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Fluency in English, both written and oral.
  • Ability to rapidly understand the policy, strategic and institutional environment.
