Business and Trade Facilitation Consultant
Result of Service The consultant’s outputs will improve the quality of the information provided by public agencies to citizens and increase their capacity in providing user-centric services.

Expected duration Contract dates: 01 August to 31 December 2022 Effective working time: 5 months
Duties and Responsibilities Under the supervision of the project coordinator and in liaison with other national and international experts, the consultant will support the implementation of the Business Facilitation Program’s (BFP) activities. S/he will participate in the development and evaluation of the project, draft action plans, analyze the information gathered on business procedures from different sources and provide substantive support to consultative meetings, plan and facilitate training workshops and draft background papers and reports. In particular, s/he will be entrusted with the following tasks:
- Train national staff assigned by the counterpart and civil servants on the methodology of information collection and registration in the eRegulations system; - Conduct quality control of the information registered on business procedures in the eRegulations system and ensure its consistency ; - Draft work plans and monitor the timely execution of activities; - Participate in the analysis of procedures and in drafting of simplification proposals; - Participate in designing the user pages of an online service for company registration based on the eRegistrations no-code platform.
Qualifications/special skills Academic Qualifications: A first level university degree, Bachelor or higher, in business information technology, communications, engineering, business administration or related fields. Experience: At least 7 years experience of work in the fields related to information management and project implementation. Experience of work with the eRegulations information system is desirable. Language: Fluency written and spoken in English.
