You have:
- HND/BSc in Architecture or related field with a minimum of four (4) years’ experience performing a similar role in a well-structured environment.
- Experience in structural design work.
- Ability to read blue prints.
- Ability to help in planning and control specification of various buildings.
The International Institute of Tropical Agriculture seeks suitable Nigeria Nationals for the position below at the Institute’s headquarter in Ibadan.
Position: Architect
Duration: 6 months’ renewable Location: Ibadan
Closing Date: 23 May 2025
DUTIES:
Discuss the objectives, requirements, and budget of a project.
Consult with other professionals about the design and building.
- Prepare and present feasibility reports and design proposals to the client.
- Advise clients on the practicality of their project.
- Produce detailed working drawings and specification for IITA projects.
- Specify the nature and quality of materials required for a project.
- Prepare tender documents and presentation.
- Prepare documents for planning and building with control.
- Project management and supervision of contractors.
- Resolve construction related problems.
- Managing project, work in progress, and ensuring that the project is running on time and no budget.
- Perform any other duty as may be directed by the Supervisor.

QUALIFICATION:
HND/BSc in Architecture or related field with a minimum of four (4) years’ experience performing a similar role in a well-structured environment.
COMPETENCIES:
The ideal candidate must:
- Have experience in structural design work.
- Have the ability to read blue prints.
- Be able to help in planning and control specification of various buildings.
