Job Overview/Summary:

The mission of the Learning and Development Team is to take the IRC’s people to the next level. The team is responsible for improving the productivity of IRC staff by providing tools, processes, and guidance for effective performance management, onboarding and orientation, staff and leadership development, and quality individual and team learning.

The Analyst is a short-term role that will provide targeted project management to the Learning and Development Team. This role focuses on data and knowledge management, with a significant contribution to reporting and improving processes. The ideal candidate will collaborate with Headquarters, International field staff and third parties as needed.

Major Responsibilities:

Data Analytics and Reporting

· Analyze Learning and Development data to identify trends and report gaps

- Respond to data requests from team members and others across the organization - Create and launch relevant surveys for TM programs - Simplify and automate current reporting processes, ensuring we have consistency across all offerings - Synthesize and use data to create visual reports, dashboards and infographics

Project Management and Support

· Review, compile, and synthesize information for various L&D initiatives, such as the review of data, records, other project documents

· Provide project support as initiatives are designed, piloted and implemented

· Create and maintain project plans for Learning and Development initiatives as assigned

· Identify what is working, where there is room for improvement and how we can use data to tell a story

· Plan supporting events and trainings to include venue selection, catering, participant management, and the coordination of other related activities

Budget and Vendor Management

- Serve as the team focal point on the Integra system. Provide support to the team on Integra-related questions and updates - Maintain the Learning and Development Team budget, including analysis of BvA reports and providing updates to team leadership about the budget, burn rates, etc. - Raise purchase orders and process invoice payments

· Collaborate with Global Supply Chain colleagues to manage contracts, vendor agreements and relationships; keep all documents current and up-to-date

Knowledge Management and Communications

· Develop and maintain knowledge management methodology for the team and/or its projects as needed

· Maintain team collateral in our internal content management tool

· Create, maintain and update L&D Team intranet pages, ensuring accuracy of all information available to the organization

· Draft internal and external communications, and support the creation of PowerPoint and other informational presentations

Produce Virtual Trainings

· Support facilitation teams with key aspects of multi-session virtual trainings to create a smooth and interactive learning environment

· Comfortably handle all aspects of interactive trainings, including screen-sharing (slides and web), pasting instruction into the chat, monitoring participant comments in the chat, setting up breakout rooms, troubleshooting participant issues, etc.

· Handle multiple tasks, easily switching among activities to support the learner experience

· Interact with participants and facilitators to create casual and conversational interactivity

Job Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree required

· 2-4 years of experience managing multiple projects

· Excellent command of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and email/internet

· A high degree of professionalism and strong work ethic coupled with a sense of responsibility and integrity

· Demonstrated skills and competencies:

o Strong communication, project management, and organizational skills

o Exceptional attention to detail

o Commitment to customer service and process improvement

o Able to prioritize multiple tasks and projects

o Ability to interact within a multi-cultural environment and with all levels of the organization

o Financial savvy, budget management

· Excellent interpersonal skills, dependability and the ability to communicate with all levels in and outside of the organization

· Knowledge of HTML or making basic web pages a plus

· French, Spanish and/or Arabic a plus
