Adding Russian and Kazakh subtitles to videos in English

The promotion of volunteerism in Central Asia is among UNV's main goals of the Region Europe and Central Asia.

The videos shows the results of SWVR 2022 (State of World's Volunteerism Report for 2022) and general information about United Nations Volunteers (UNV) programme.

The Online Volunteer will have the opportunity to build connections within UNV and learn about the ways in which the translated product contributes to the integration of volunteers into the UN system and the overall promotion of volunteerism.

We are looking for an Online Volunteer who will support us by adding subtitles to existing 4-5 videos (1-2 minutes each). In particular, the Online Volunteer is asked to:

• Use the translated subtitles for the video to add them to the shared video according to the shared timecodes;

The video product should follow our corporate design guidelines which will be shared with the Online Volunteers in advance. Texts of subtitles will be shared along with the timecodes.

Proficient knowledge of editing software including: Adobe Premiere (or any other relevant software of this level).

Communications skills, attention to details, adaptability and responsiveness are key skills for this assignment

Candidates should have professional experience in video editing with previous experience and must have in-depth knowledge of video editing applications, as well as good verbal and written communication skills. A degree in a related field is considered an asset.
