The promotion of volunteerism in Central Asia is among UNV's main goals of the Region Europe and Central Asia.

The video shows an experiences of Fully Funded UN Volunteers from Kazakhstan serving in another countries and the final video will support UNV Field Unit in Kazakhstan in strengthening its partnerships with the government.

The Online Volunteer will have the opportunity to build connections within UNV and learn about the ways in which the translated product contributes to the integration of volunteers into the UN system and the overall promotion of volunteerism.

We are looking for an Online Volunteer who will support us by adding subtitles to an existing video. In particular, the Online Volunteer is asked to: - Use the translated subtitles for the video to add them to the shared video according to the shared timecodes; - Create a short draft video (just to show the subtitles) based on requirements and discuss with focal point/communications team; - Add all of the subtitles to the the full video according to agreed requirements.

The video product should follow our corporate design guidelines which will be shared with the Online Volunteers in advance. The video clip is 4 minutes. Text of subtitles will be shared along with the timecodes.

Proficient knowledge of editing software including: Adobe Premiere (or any other relevant software of this level). Experience in video editing and subtitling Communications skills, attention to details, adaptability and responsiveness are key skills for this assignment

Candidates should have professional experience in video editing with previous experience and must have in-depth knowledge of video editing applications, as well as good verbal and written communication skills. A degree in a related field is considered an asset.
